2012-13 Top Transfers: #10 Rotnei Clarke, Butler

As a sophomore and junior at Arkansas, the deadly outside shooting of Rotnei Clarke placed him in the top-60 nationally in offensive rating and top-30 nationally in 3-point percentage. Brad Stevens will rely heavily on Clarke's career 14.2 point per game scoring average and 41.9 career- 3-point marksmen to lead the Bulldogs in their debut season in the Atlantic-10.

Fresh off back-to-back national championship game appearances, Butler shot just 28.1 from 3-point range, ranking 335th in the country, so clearly Clarke will have a huge impact on this program. But even moreso now that four-year contributor Ronald Nored has graduated, meaning Clarke will take on a leadership role and a new position. For the first time in his career, Rotnei Clarke will handle the point guard duties. His 1.3 assists per game is nothing to brag about, nor is a 10.9 assist percentage, but he has been in the gym for the past year-and-a-half working on his ballhandling and honing his court awareness.
