#13 Tony Mitchell | F
Stats

Hometown: Dallas, TX

Height: 6'8"

Weight: 235

Position: Small Forward/Power Forward

Team: North Texas

Class: Sophomore
Strengths

Right-handed… Mitchell has solid size at 6'8" to play either forward spot really, but it's his explosive athleticism that separates him from others. Despite having more than a year in between top competition, Mitchell played well for the US at the U-19 Tournament in Latvia, leading the team in rebounds and showed improvement with each game offensively. He is a player that will be a matchup nightmare given his size, athleticism and quickness. He can beat his man off the dribble, use a quick spin move or drop step in the low blocks or get out in transition with Mitchell can handle the ball a bit to lead the break or fill in on the wing and attack the basket… Given his explosive leaping abilities, Mitchell is a fantastic rebounder, ranking among the nation's best.
Weaknesses

Mitchell needs to continue to work on his overall game where he has lost a year due to the NCAA ruling him ineligible due to his academic issues in moving to the college level. He needs to improve his consistency on his jump shot and he needs to extend his range out to 20-22 feet. Furthermore, Mitchell's best chances of landing in the first-round will occur as a versatile forward, and needs to better his ball-handling to play on the perimeter…
