#21 Miles Plumlee | F
Strengths

Right-handed… Duke's offense has not featured the big man much the past several years since Shelden Williams, but don't blame Plumlee for that. He is a defensive-minded big who needs a point guard like Kyrie Irving to make him come out of his shell on offense… At 6'10", 245 pounds, Plumlee has good size to match his athleticism and physicality on the floor. He runs the floor well to beat opposing bigs for a transition bucket or set up on the low blocks in a man-up advantage situation. In the half court setting, Plumlee's main offense comes by way of rolling after setting a pick, tipping in an offensive rebound or on the rare occasion, displaying his grace and athleticism to throw down an alley-oop… His motor is attractive to teams, but they want to see him play more to garner a spot on their big board. He is competitive with a high basketball IQ and puts himself in good positions to rebound the basketball…
Weaknesses

Like previously stated, Plumlee does not have much of offensive game, often relying on his guards to draw his man so he could move into open space and thus a scoring opportunity. He lacks a real back-to-the-basket game, although he has developed a soft, albeit inconsistent baby hook shot over either shoulder. He'll need to show more of that and add in a drop step to match his strength as well as counter moves on offense. He floats around on the perimeter offensively too often… On defense, Plumlee needs to improve his weak-side defense….
