Meyers Leonard Growing On Scouts

As we wrote last week, Meyers Leonard is finding himself on the rise as of late. Size always rises as we get closer to the Draft and the Illinois sophomore center measured in at 7' 1.25" in shoes, a chiseled 250 pounds (5.7 percent body fat) and a decent 7'3" wingspan. But even more importantly, Leonard was shining in the athletic testing where he showed off his strength as a mobile, agile and explosively athletic center prospect. He was quick off his feet, sprinting well up and down the floor and knocking down 10-12 foot jump shots in transition with relative ease.

Leonard has been slotted in the mid-first round in the teens, but now may find himself at the end of the lottery in the range of Tyler Zeller, most likely not lasting past Houston at No. 14
