Strengths

Right-handed… There are few wings with a better package of skills than Richmond. He has great length with his uses to his advantage to get shots off on the offensive end and to lock of opponents on the defensive side. He is an explosive athlete who can play above the rim or knock down shots from the mid-range or behind the arc. He passes the ball well and can handle it in the open court or to penetrate through the lane… He is an automatic mid-range shooter out to 15 feet. He has displayed the ability to pull-up and elevate after going to either his right or left for a jumper…He is best with the ball in his hands, penetrating through the lane or spending some time at the point guard spot. He has a knack for finishing at the rim in traffic due t his high-level of athleticism and body control. He loves to attack from the wing. When the defenses start to collapse on him, he has the quick instincts to find the open teammate and dump the ball out to him… Richmond has a great feel for the game and his team's offense, rarely forcing shot and showing leadership throughout the contest. When he slides over the play some point, his court vision and decision-making are on full display… Richmond's defensive skills make him a force on the defensive end. He has the length and quickness to lock up an opponent on the perimeter, but also uses his length to rejects shots away, displaying his defensive versatility in guarding either guard spot and either forward spots at times…
Weaknesses

Richmond needs to add strength to his frame. He is already one of the most versatile players, enabling him to play four positions on the court, but his added strength would only help him become an even more complete and solid prospect… He needs to continue to develop his 3-point shot and range. With more consistency, Richmond would be a more of a threat from the perimeter…. There are times during games where Richmond seems to be coasting. He floats around on too many occasions when he could have the ball in his hands and dominating…
