Strengths
Right handed… Skeen stands 6'9", 240 pounds giving him the perfect size and frame to be an inside-outside player. He has solid length and strength to score both inside and the soft touch to knock down from the perimeter. Despite some awkward mechanics, he has NBA range. On the low blocks, Skeen loves going to a simple spin move and finishing with his right hand.
Weaknesses
Skeen tore his meniscus as a high school senior and his athleticism still hasn't fully recovered from the injury… Skeen was suspended for violating Wake Forest's academic policy (cheating), and despite lobbying from the coaching staff for reinstatement, Skeen transferred to VCU… Skeen must continue to develop his perimeter game. He needs to improve his ball-handling with his left hand, executing dribble moves and getting into the paint and finishing with his left hand… He's just an average rebounder due to limited athleticism and explosiveness.
