#14 Dewayne Dedmon | C

Right-handed… Dedmon seemingly came out of nowhere when head coach Kevin O'Neill touted this junior college big as a potential first rounder, but the truth is he is right. He has the tools of an NBA center, but he is still awfully raw. After averaging 7 points and 8 rebounds as a JuCo, he showed he can run the court with his long strides and a strong motor. He's lengthy and athletic, getting off the floor with some pretty good hops for a 250-pound 7-footer. His mobility is key, but so is his improvement all around. His offensive game right now relies around his ability to finish at the rim, but he is slowly developing a mid-range game with his surprisingly soft touch…

Dedmon really lacks the experience at this point and it shows. He is certainly a prospect pick for any team as he didn't really play any high school basketball until his senior season. Dedmon certainly needs to keep improving and developing as a post threat offensively, developing a left-hand and scoring moves in the pivot. On defense, he relies on his athleticism, but has the building blocks of a game-changing center…
