Key to a Villanova Final Four Victory

(2) Villanova vs (2) Oklahoma

These two final four squads met earlier in the season (DEC 7) with OU coming out on top by a large margin, 78-55. Neither team is close to the same team they were months ago. Especially Nova, they have vastly improved. Back in December, The Wildcats shot a horrendous 4-32. That's a whopping 12.5%. Nova's starters just couldn't get it going offensively and had to deal with Oklahoma making it rain from down town, nailing 14 of 26 from deep. Even know Villanova held Buddy Hield to only 17 points, the team did not focus on stopping anyone else.

A Key to victory for the Wildcats will be getting to the line and of course converting their free throws. They are shooting at an 85% clip from the line during the tourney and a serious 95% in during the last 2 games. Villanova brought there stingy defense to hold Kansas to a season low 59 points. Nova must bring that same defense again but, they will also need a balanced scoring attack from their starting 5 averaging at least their season averages to pull off a victory. Josh Hart, the Big East's Sixth Man of the year will be responsible for slowing down Hield. Hart can't let Buddy go wild and score 37 points, there's not a magic number to hold Hield too, but for sure 37 is too much.
