Update on Drafted/Undrafted Players

Guillermo Hernangomez - New York Knicks

The Knicks feel the buyout for Hernangomez is just too steep so he will continue to play with Sevilla in Spain next season. The Knicks would love to bring him over for the following season. Hernangomez played with Knicks 1st round pick Kristaps Porzingis and are rumored to be friends. This would help the transition from overseas to the states for both players.

Jahlil Okafor - Philadelphia 76ers

The big man from Duke who was drafted 3rd overall will play in both the Utah and Las Vegas Summer leagues. These leagues will be a good barometer to see how Okafor will perform against NBA-caliber players. Joel Embiid is thought to miss most of this upcoming season after missing all of last season.

Ryan Boatright - Brooklyn Nets

Boatright went undrafted from UConn in part because he is under the 6 foot mark. He was signed by the Brooklyn Nets.

Jonathan Holmes - Boston Celtics

Holmes was one of the top players to go undrafted in the 2015 NBA draft. He regressed in his senior season at Texas and will look to prove his value during the summer League.

Cliff Alexander - Brooklyn Nets

Alexander will play for the Nets during the summer league. Alexander went undrafted even know he was a top-five recruit coming out of high school. He struggled big time while at Kansas and had his season cut short due to an NCAA Investigation for his family possibly receiving improper benefits.

Frank Kaminksky - Charlotte Hornetts

Coach Steve Clifford said he will try to play Frank at the Power Forward and Center positions during the season. The Hornets had one of the worsts season's in history from beyond the arc.

Aaron Harrison - Charlotte Hornets

Aaron went undrafted unlike his brother Andrew and his going to have to fight for a roster spot. Aaron will play for the Hornets during summer league play.

T.J. McConnell - Philadelphia 76ers

Former Arizona PG signed a partially guaranteed contract with the 76ers. McConnell, like Boatright went undrafted in large part due to their diminutive stature. He has a miniscule chance to earn some minutes at the PG spot for the Sixers as the only real PG on the roster is Tony Wroten.

Christian Wood - Houston Rockets

Wood signed a free agent deal with Houston. Wood publicly posted on Twitter after going on drafted that he has a chip on his shoulder. Look for the talented undrafted PF from UNLV to show you his mighty potential.

Karl-Anthony Towns - Minnesota Timberwolves

The no. 1 overall pick will suit up for the T'Wolves during summer league play.
