Colorado Buffs dealt crushing blow

Colorado Buffaloes junior guard Spencer Dinwiddie tore his ACL on Sunday and will miss the rest of the season. Colorado went on to lose the game without Dinwiddie. The Buffaloes' guard was leading the team in scoring, (14.7 PPG) in assists, (3.8 APG) and steals (1.5 SPG) before the injury occurred. Colorado is having a terrific season so far with a 14-3 record while being ranked #21. Dinwiddie was a possible first round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, but now will stay in school. Colorado faces a huge challenge in their first game without Dinwiddie as they take on #25 ranked UCLA on Thursday. two games later the Buffaloes take on top ranked and undefeated Arizona. Colorado should fall out of the top 25 and struggle to keep their hopes alive in the PAC-12.
