Down goes Bledsoe

The Phoenix Suns were just dealt a major blow as their star PG will be out for the season. Eric Bledsoe was having a season to remember and becoming a star in the making before Bledsoe went down with a knee injury. We have now learned Bledsoe will need surgery on his ligaments that will most likely keep him out for the rest of the season. The Suns acquired Bledsoe has part of a three way trade with the L.A. Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bledsoe was selected No. 18 overall out of Kentucky in the 2010 draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder, who immediately traded him to the L.A. Clippers. He was averaging 18.0 PPG, 5.8 APG & 4.3 RPG before missing the last 4 games due to this knee injury. This season was Bledsoe's first season as a starter in the NBA. Bledsoe carried his team to a surprising 21-13 start. Most expected the Suns to pick in the lottery in this year's super freshman 2014 NBA draft.
