Kentucky's Cauley-Stein First-Round Talent Off The Bench

Freshman Willie Cauley-Stein is playing just 20 minutes per game as a reserve for the surging Kentucky Wildcats, but that's been enough time to show NBA scouts he is deserving of a look in the first-round of the 2013 NBA Draft.

Backing up top NBA Draft prospect in the 2013 class, Nerlens Noel, Cauley-Stein has flown under the radar and his efficient play is deserving of national recognition. At 7-feet and a near 250 pounds, Cauley-Stein is super athletic and agile, helping him finish with power and finesse around the rim where he ranks 8th in the NCAA with a 65 percent field-goal accuracy.

In his last two games, Cauley-Stein is a total of 10-of-12 from the floor, averaging 12.5 points and 5 rebounds. He runs the court well, rebounds like a champion and can defend the rim with excellent explosiveness and leaping abilities.

Look for Cauley-Stein to be selected somewhere in the 20-25 range of the 2013 NBA Draft as a reserve, possibly higher if he has an outburst in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
