Thomas Robinson Could Surpass Kidd-Gilchrist At No. 2

Kansas forward Thomas Robinson, the No. 5 player on our Big Board, looks like he will be moving up in our next update, unseating and surpassing Kentucky small forward as the No. 2 player on our board behind Anthony Davis. Although Kidd-Gilchrist measured in well himself at the Chicago Combine (6'7.5" in shoes), Robinson shined in his own right. His biggest "negative" in the minds of NBA teams was going to his be his height measurement as teams feared that he was going to measure in closer to 6'7" or 6'8" than the ideal 6'9" or 6'10" size for a power forward; however, Robinson measured in at 6'9" in shoes with a 7'3" wingspan, easing up some of the concerns that teams had on him. And on top of that, Robinson passed the vertical leap test with flying colors, posting a 35.5" explosive burst, the same measurement as Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers.
