Baylor's Miller Affected By Sanctions?
No one expected Perry Jones III to stick around after his freshman season a year ago. But he did. And then the rumors started swirling when Baylor was ousted by eventual national champion Kentucky in the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Now that Jones has declared for the 2012 Draft, would this year's standout freshman for the Bears, Quincy Miller, do the same? Miller doesn't have as deep of a versatile skill set as his teammate, but still stands 6'9" with the ability to score both inside and out. Like Jones, Miller didn't live up to his lofty first-year expectations on campus- spending too much time on the perimeter and needing more time in the weight room.
How will the latest news of Baylor facing possible NCAA sanctions affect Miller's decision to enter the pro ranks with regards to recruiting violations surrounding the program? We will find out tonight or tomorrow when coach Scott Drew meets with the freshman.
