Florida's Beal Dropping in Ranks

It's not so much that scouts do not like what they see, quite the contrary actually, with the freshman shooting guard's size, a sweet stroke from the perimeter and a good enough athlete to help him hit the boards. But Brad Beal, drops below UConn's Jeremy Lamb as the best 2-guard in this draft due to his recent rough stretch of production. And as a result, the Gators have split their last four games after winning 11 of their first 12 games.

Is it just a shooting slump? Freshman wall? Whatever it is, if the Gators want to get back on the winning track and challenge Kentucky for an SEC title and for Beal to move back up on our Big Board, he needs to start shooting better.

Take a look at Beal's numbers:

First 12 games: 15.5 points per game, 45.9 field-goal percentage, 35.7 3-point percentage, 2.1 3-point makes per game, 28 turnovers (2.3 per game)

Last 4 games: 10 points, 29.8 field-goal percentage, 12.5 3-point percentage, 0.5 3-point makes per game, 14 turnovers (3.5 per game)
