JaJuan Johnson's Slip-up Before the Big Ten Battle of Wisconsin vs. Purdue

The Badgers come into tonight's game ranked 16th and they must play on the road vs. Purdue who is ranked 12th in the nation.  This will be a battle of two of the best teams in the country as well as in the Big Ten. One of Purdue's best players, and player of the week, big man JaJuan Johnson will not be in the starting lineup for the first time all season. He arrived late to the game. As an NBA prospect, Johnson needs to show more discipline. Former Big Ten coach of the year Matt Painter is making the right move and keeping Johnson on the bench to start the game. Look for Johnson to enter the game within the first five minutes.

In order for Purdue to play well and win this Big Ten matchup, they must have solid games from their core of juniors: JaJuan Johnson, Robbie Hummel and E'Twaun Moore who are all NBA prospects.  Combined, these three Juniors average close to 50 points, and about 17 rebounds per game. The boilermakers should also welcome back Sophomore Point Guard Lewis Jackson from injury. Expect this fierce rivalry to be a low scoring, close game with quite a few lead changes.
