Saint Mary's Steindl Hot From Outside

Sometimes the fourth or fifth option a year ago, Clint Steindl, a 6'7" Aussie import, one of four on the roster, has become one of the country's most dangerous perimeter threats this season. In two games this season, Steindl has 14 made field-goals, 13 of which are from behind the arc and perhaps even more impressive, he has attempted just 24 3s, meaning he's hitting at a 54% clip from distance.

On a Gaels' team that also boasts Mickey McConnell and Matthew Dellavedova as snipers from the outside, Steindl has developed into one more weapon, capable of helping Saint Mary's return to the Sweet 16 this year.
