Mississippi State's Bost Reinstated; Will Serve 9 Game Suspension

The NCAA has reinstated Mississippi State point guard Dee Bost after failing to withdraw before the NBA Draft's May deadline; however, Bost will serve a nine-game suspension. The junior guard is academically ineligible for the fall semester so he will begin serving his suspension in December, after the first semester of classes.

Bost has started all 72 games of collegiate career with the Bulldogs, averaging 13 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists last season. Bost will team up with classmate Ravern Johnson in the backcourt this season to go along with forwards Renardo Sidney, Romero Osby and John Riek.

With Bost back in the lineup, the Bulldogs are the favorites to win the SEC West this season.
