Stats

Hometown: Lilburn, GA

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 200

Position: Shooting Guard

Team: College Of Charleston

Class: Senior
Strengths

Right handed… Goudelock is a big-time scorer at the small-school level, but don't overlook the 6'2" guard, just because he plays for the College of Charleston; he went off for 27 points against Maryland, 28 against North Carolina and 31 against Tennessee, all on the road… As much of a scorer as the senior is, and he is a big one (23.4 points ranked fifth in the country), he can be a distributor. He has shown the ability to find the open man, mostly off his penetration. He is an unselfish passer, but relatively unproven as a point guard… The biggest part of Goudelock's offensive ability is his jump shot. He has range out to 27 or 28 feet; nearly ¾ of his shot attempts in his senior campaign were jumpers. Lucky for him and his teammates, he's hitting nearly half of those attempts as both a stand-still shooter and off of the dribble. He is helped by a quick trigger and is quite shifty with the ball in his hands. He can create space with a variety of jabs and ball-fakes…
Weaknesses

Goudelock is primarily a shooting guard, but is undersized at 6'2". He doesn't have great quickness or explosiveness so he relies on jabs and fakes to keep the defender off balance and get by him. When faced with longer defenders, Goudelock often finishes with step-backs or off-balance floaters… While he spends more of Charleston's offensive sets playing without the ball in his hands, scouts question his ability to be a point guard at the next level. Can he handle consistent full-court ball pressure? Can he still initiate his team's offense?... Defensively, will Goudelock be able to guard the larger offensive players at the next level? Most likely not. He does a lot of standing around on defense when the ball is away from his man…
