Strengths

Right-handed… Few players are as blessed as Drummond with his size (6'10", 275 pounds), athleticism and skill. He can be a dominating presence in the low post with his propensity to finish with power or finesse. Drummond can finish with contact and complete the play even while being fouled or lay the ball in with a soft baby hook shot, comfortable finishing with either hand… What makes Drummond even more dangerous on the offensive end is his ability to step outside and knock down shots on the perimeter or put the ball on the deck and take the ball to the rim. As an adept passer, he has the skills to play in the high post and sees the floor well… Drummond, due to his sheer size and athleticism, is a potent offensive and defensive rebounder. He controls the paint on the defensive end of the floor with his length and quick leaping ability to intimidate opposing guards and bigs. But at the same time, Drummond has the basketball IQ to keep the ball in play, instead of looking for the highlight swat.
Weaknesses

Drummond does not always play his hardest and tends to take plays off. On the offensive end, Drummond will float out onto the perimeter and stay out there- taking away his biggest strength- his inside play. There is no doubt that Calhoun must keep Drummond inside to maximize his potential. Defensively, Drummond has the propensity to float and roam still, leaving his man open on the blocks and following the rotation of the ball
